Her love of travel was sparked early, and she has fond memories of spending time with family in Arizona and California. Jessica Michelle Pfund is a 25-year-old woman who was born and raised in the Santa Cruz mountains in Los Gatos, CA. From a young age, she had a love for the outdoors and spent a lot of time camping and fishing with her family. Jessica was a very independent child, always wanting to learn new things and do them without any help. She taught herself how to tie her shoes, play the piano, and whistle when she was only 4 years old. She even won a fishing competition against full-grown men at that age!
Growing up, Jessica was always competitive, which she attributes to having an older brother. She loved Batman and never played with dolls. Her childhood dog, Truffles, was a Bullmastiff, and she still misses her to this day.
As she got older, Jessica developed a passion for powerlifting and started competing when she was only 8 years old. She traveled all over the country for competitions, and she can proudly say she’s been to more than half of the United States. Her love for traveling started early, as her mom’s family lived in Arizona, and she has fond memories of spending time with her grandparents there. Her dad’s parents lived in Cupertino, CA, where her parents grew up, and they visited frequently.
Currently, Jessica is engaged to her wonderful fiancé, whom she has been with since August 2020. They plan to get married next year, and she hopes to play a song for her mom on the guitar at her wedding. When she has downtime, Jessica enjoys going to the beach or relaxing by the pool. She has recently started to learn how to play the guitar and hopes to improve her skills over time.
